"Isms"

I don't subscribe to any particular architectural style or movement. In my view, no particular "-ism" (Modernism, regionalism, traditional- ism, and so on) always presents the "correct" answer to an architectural problem. Rather, the design language of a successful project arises from the many forces affecting it: the client's programmatic needs and aesthetic taste; the built and natural context; and the constraints of schedule, bud- get, and building codes.
